JOB TITLE: Data Entry Clerk
REPORTS TO: District Division Supervisor

SUMMARY
Performs a variety of data
entry and clerical tasks involved in entering case information into the
computer, receipting payments, processing mail, and filing case information.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Enters traffic tickets and other case information into the
computer.*
- Receives and receipts filing fines, costs and other
payments.*
- Answers telephone and provides basic procedural and case
information in response to routine inquiries. Refers callers to
appropriate individuals.*
- Enters case dispositions on registers of action.*
- Files court documents.*
- Processes certifications of convictions.
- Obtains criminal case information from court records.
- Prepares outgoing mail for delivery to the post office.
- Types routine forms and other court documents.
- May assist in all 46th Circuit Trial Court Divisions when
necessary to meet the needs of the court.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Judge.
